GUWAHATI, July 31 - The Golden Jubilee Central Mopin Celebration Committee is organising the third National Aalo Trade Fair at Gumin Kiin from July 29 to August 16, another official release from Aalo stated.
Inaugurating the fair, West Siang SP Riba said that the trade fair would not only generate revenue for the Mopin celebration committee, but also offer opportunities to people to buy various household items. He lauded the Mopin celebration committee for its innovative ideas in mobilising resources to celebrate the annual festival of the Galos.
Doi Ado and Henrik Basar, president and secretary respectively of the Mopin celebration committee, disclosed that grand preparations have been made for the celebration of the Mopin festival in a befitting manner in its golden jubilee year. The duo appealed to the members of the Galo community to think of other measures for maximum resource mobilisation. The assistant general secretary of the Mopin celebration committee, Doli Lollen, thanked the public for their keen participation in the festivities.
