Gold medal award function of GU dept

JALUKBARI, Nov 24 - The Department of Anthropology, Gauhati University in association with the GU Alumni Association and GU Alumni Association Europe Chapter, London, is organising the 2nd Manju Rani Barkataki Memorial Gold Medal Award Ceremony on November 26 at the Phanidhar Dutta Seminar Hall, GU.

GU Vice Chancellor Dr Mridul Hazarika will inaugurate the function and Prof AC Bhagabati, former VC of Rajiv Gandhi University, Arunachal Pradesh will be the chief guest. Doctor Nripen Barkataki, husband of Late Manju Rani Goswami Barkataki and coordinator of Gauhati University Alumni Association, Europe Chapter, London will be the guest of honour.

The gold medal is given to the 1st rank holder among the GU anthropology department�s postgraduate students.
