Gold, ganja seized at railway station

GUWAHATI, April 24 - Government Railway Police today seized 3 kg gold from a person hailing from West Bengal.

Altogether 14 pieces of gold were seized from Sajid Kamal Mandal, who was scheduled to take the Saraighat Express to Howrah.

Earlier in the morning, about 14 kg ganja was found in the Rajdhani Express. One Lalmoni Bewa (41) of Birbhumi in West Bengal was carrying the ganja from Dimapur to NJP.

Yesterday, around 5 kg opium was seized from two women � Jhangiam Binashakhi Leima (48) and Jhangiam Uma Devi (42) of Imphal East, Manipur. They were travelling by the Dn BP Mail.
