Gold biscuit recovered

SHILLONG, July 2 - Border Security Force personnel have recovered a gold biscuit worth over Rs 3.5 lakh from a place along Indo-Bangla international border in East Khasi Hills district, according to BSF officials.

The seizure was made after a packet fell on the ground while a suspected smuggler, who was illegally entering the Indian territory, was escaping back to Bangladesh on seeing the BSF party. The seized item has been handed over to concerned department for legal action.
