GOLAGHAT, April 2 - The district administration of Golaghat is all set for the first phase of the Assembly elections on April 4 with all necessary preparations for free and fair poll in 95-Golaghat LAC and 96-Khumtai LAC, under 11-Kaliabor Lok Sabha seat.
There are 221 polling stations in the 95-Golaghat LAC and 158 in 96-Khumtai. The total voters in 95-Golaghat LAC are 1,75,129 (89,523 male voters and 85,606 female voters). In 96-Khumtai LAC, there are 1,20,261 registered voters (61,604 male and 58,657 female voters).
