Golaghat dist bags sixth position in Gunotsav

DERGAON, March 7 - Golaghat district has bagged the sixth position in the third phase of Gunotsav held in January. A total of 1635 schools in the district were evaluated by 615 External Evaluators on January 3-6.

According to information received from the Education Department in the district, a total of 261 schools bagged A+ grade while 662 schools got A, 470 schools got B, 205 schools got C and only 37 schools got D grade. The grading was done by the Education Department of the State Government while the Sarba Siksha Abhijan (SSA) was the sole agency which prepared the results based on the report submitted by the External Evaluators.

On the other hand in Golaghat North Block a total of 193 schools were evaluated. Among them 45 schools bagged A+ grade while 86 schools got A, 42 schools B, 16 schools C and only four schools scored D grade.
