GUWAHATI, May 19 � Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi today alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had done grave injustice to Assam by not raising the issue of construction of dams over the Brahmaputra by China during his recent visit to that country.
In a statement, Gogoi said such a vital issue should have been raised by Modi during talks with his Chinese counterpart. �By not raising the serious issue and putting it on the backburner, the Prime Minister has done grave injustice to Assam and its people,� he said.
