SILCHAR, Sept 30: In yet another incident of fire outbreak in Cachar district, a godown was gutted at Kalain market area adjacent to Kali temple on Sunday around 9.30 pm.
According to sources, the godown was completely damaged with nearby shops partially affected by the flames.
However, there has been no casualty reported so far.
Firefighters from Katigorah and Badarpur areas rushed to the spot to bring the fire under control. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
