AIZAWL, Sept 22 - Low-cost airline Go Air will start operations connecting Mizoram from October 15, an official said on Sunday.
Principal Consultant for Civil Aviation, Wing Commander Joe Lalhmingliana said Go Air has decided to start operations on the Aizawl-Guwahati-Kolkata sector from October 15.
Go Air�s Deputy Manager (Airports) Sumit Bhandari, who recently visited Aizawl, had said the airline will operate an Airbus-A320 daily.
Flights will depart from Guwahati at 6.50 am and arrive at Lengpui Airport in Mizoram at 7.50 am. Flights will depart from Aizawl at 8.40 am and arrive in Guwahati at 9.50 am.
Lalhmingliana said officials of IndiGo also visited Aizawl and discussed flight operations from the Mizoram capital.
