The GMC official, Ranjit Kumar Baishya, informed that for beneficiary-led construction, the GMC divided all the applications into myadi land and eksonia land categories. In the first phase, financial assistance will be provided to the applicants having myadi land in their possession, while the government is yet to finalise the financial assistance to be extended under PMAY to those possessing eksonia land.

We have again started another demand survey for the scheme. In the first phase, response from the public has been very low due to lack of awareness, Baishya added.
