NAGAON, March 4 - Sensation prevailed today at Kampur Kochuwa area after a gang of miscreants consisting of around seven-eight members allegedly gangraped a girl last night and abandoned her at an isolated paddy field of Kochuwa Halodhibari area under Kochuwa police station.
According to sources, the victim immediately lodged an FIR about the incident as well as against those rapists at Kochuwa police station. Meanwhile, the SP, Nagaon, Sankarbrata Raimedhi rushed to Kochuwa police station and he himself supervised the process to trace all those culprits involved directly or indirectly in the gruesome incident so far.
The SP in a telephonic interaction with this correspondent said that all the culprits involved in the incident had been identified and they would be able to pick up all of them soon.
