GUWAHATI, Nov 11 - In a heinous incident, a group of people comprising two women and two men, brutally beat up a young girl hailing from Meghalaya here on Sunday night. According to police, the incident took place inside a flat in Rukminigaon area where the girl stays.
The girl�s family has lodged a complaint with Dispur Police Station but no one has been picked up yet.
NGO North East Network also has condemned the incident and urged law enforcement agencies, courts and other authorities concerned to take speedy action against the accused.
