GUWAHATI, June 18 - A YouTube video showing a girl accusing a man of molesting her in a moving city bus in Guwahati went viral today, prompting the city police to launch a probe into it.
The video was uploaded on June 10 by the victim in her YouTube account. According to the victim, the incident took place during evening hours when she was travelling in a city bus. However, the exact location where the incident took place is not known.
�Till now, the victim has not filed any complaint in any police station of the city. But, as the video has gone viral, I have directed all police stations to locate the accused. We will take a suo motu case after apprehending the person,� said Commissioner of Guwahati Police Deepak Kumar.
