GUWAHATI, Dec 1 - Socio-cultural organisation Jyotirupa has condoled the death of playwright, litterateur and cultural organiser Giasuddin Ahmed who passed away on Friday.
In a condolence message, Jyotirupa president PG Baruah and general secretary Naren Hazarika said Ahmed, the founder general secretary of Natasurya, had played a key role in uplifting the State's cultural spheres and his death is an irreparable loss for the State.
Jyotirupa also conveyed its sympathy to the bereaved family.
