UDALGURI, July 24 - The Udalguri district committee of the Sadou Asom Zilla Prashasan Karmachari Santha felicitated Chandan Boro, the teenaged football player here at the DC conference hall recently.
The meeting to this effect was presided over by the Deputy Commissioner i/c of Udalguri district Richand Ahmed. Senior citizens of Udalguri and sports loving persons Dr Rohit Ch Brahma, Manik Sharma, former president of Udalguri Zila Sahitya Sabha and retired Principal of Udalguri HS School, Dr Luke Daimari, Principal, Udalguri College, Bhupen Rava, district sports officer, Atul Boro, personnel from the Harisinga Coaching Centre, MK Dawka, Superintendent, Udalguri district jail among many others spoke on the occasion and blessed the little Chandan Boro to become an iconic football star.
