GUWAHATI, March 20 � Guwahati Cricket Coaching Centre (GCCC) annexed the Nilimoy Choudhury Memorial Trophy defeating Bud Cricket Club by 17 runs in the high scoring final at the Judges� Field here last evening.
Battting first, GCCC notched up 182 for seven in the stipulated 20 overs with Man-of-the-match and man-of-the-series Nishanta Bordoloi being the top scorer with a 42-ball 65.
Making a hot chase, getting 50 off four overs, Bud finally fell to the smart bowling and fielding of GCCC and folded their innings at 165. Manoj Malo of Navarang Club and Bikash Chetri of GCCC were adjudged Best Batsman and Best Bowler of th tournament respectively while Chanakya Sarma of GCCC got the Best Fielder award.
The tournament was organised by Navarang Club.
