TURA, March 26 - The 55 year-old victim of the brutal dacoity case, Tapan Ghosh, of Garobadha, lost his battle with life recently.
Ghosh had been critically injured after being hit on his head with a �khukri�. Five members of the family injured in the attack were rushed to Guwahati for medical care where Tapan Ghosh was put under intensive care.
The family was attacked by a gang of about 20 dacoits in January. Ghosh died at Dhekiajuli in Assam where was taken by his family to recuperate.
