DOOMDOOMA, Oct 3 - As per the government instruction Daimukhia Gaon Panchayat under Doomdooma LAC organised a Gaon Sabha on Wednesday at Rupbon Public playground with Daimukhia GP president Deepmala Karmakar in the chair. The president of Hapjan Anchalik Panchayat Rupkumar Tanti was present in the meeting.
The meeting discussed various issues related to the development of the ten wards of the panchayat. The meeting adopted a few resolutions regarding development of roads, cleanliness and refrain from using plastic in the panchayat. The ten ward members of the panchayat, senior citizens Jatin Saikia, Ananta Khataniar, Giridhar Nanda, Hiralal Sarma attended the meeting besides a large number of public of the panchayat. The proceedings of the meeting was anchored by the secretary of the panchayat Suprakash Bhowal.
The gaon sabhas of 15 other Gaon Panchayats under Doomdooma LAC will be held soon.
