Galo priest passes away

AALO, June 14 - Moli Boje, retired political Assistant, renowned priest, orator and folklorist of Galo society passed away after a prolonged illness at his Sipu Puyi residence on Thursday. His mortal remains were laid to rest today, a press release said.

Born on January 1, 1941 at Yaari village under Darak Circle of West Siang district, he is survived by his wife, seven sons and three daughters. He founded the Lodu Bango Community School on donation basis.

Later, he was appointed as a Political Interpreter in 1967, and elevated as Political Assistant and retired in 2005. Governor�s Commendation Certificate was awarded to him in 1982 for long years of meritorious service rendered by him.
