GUWAHATI, June 2 - A function to pay tribute to the noted classical dancer, Padma Shree Late Pushpa Bhuyan, is being organised by Puspanjali Cultural Academy at the Pragjyoti ITA Centre of Performing Arts, Machkhowa here, on June 3 and 4.
Tributes will be paid to her by her disciples through various dance forms, such as Bharatanatyam, Kathak, Kuchipudi and Sattriya, all of which were very dear to Late Bhuyan.
Governor PB Acharya will grace the chair of the chief guest at the function to be held tomorrow, while Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal has been invited to be the chief guest at the function to be held on June 4.
