GUWAHATI, April 23 - The 175 Bn CRPF, Rani, Kamrup, in collaboration with GNRC Hospitals, organised a free medical camp under its civic action programme at the Ashom Matri MV School campus near Barduar Bagan on Friday. I Lokendra Singh, Commandant, 175 Bn, CRPF, inaugurated the camp, a press release stated.
Dr Snigdha Chetia, CMO, 175 Bn, CRPF, along with Dr Hemanta Kumar Sonowal, Dr Kumudeswar Sarmah, Dr Uday Bora and Dr Swapan Kumar Sen of GNRC Hospitals examined the villagers of the nearby areas.
A mobile free check-up bus of GNRC having facilities of ultrasound, ECG and blood test was also utilised at the camp. Free medicines worth more than Rs 1 lakh were also distributed among the villagers.
