GUWAHATI, March 31 - Dr Amitabh Chowdhury Memorial Trust, in association with Patna Cardiac Clinic and the Institute of Child Health and Mother Welfare, Guwahati organised a free cardiac camp at the Institute of Child Health and Mother Welfare on Saturday.
This was the second such cardiac camp that was being organised by the Trust.
Patna-based Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgeon Dr Manmohan, Dr Pranab Kumar Biswas and Dr Banajit Chowdhury rendered consultation at the camp. The camp witnessed a large gathering with people from a cross-section of society, especially the marginalised class, attending the camp. Other than Electro Cardiogram, other facilities provided at the camp included Hba1c screening test or Glycerated Haemoglobin Test, and the cardiovascular screening test, a press release said.
