GUWAHATI, June 25 - The Bhootnath Seva Samiti has set up several camps to accommodate devotees arriving for the Ambubachi Mela at the Kamakhya temple, and food is being served to an estimate 6,000 guests every day, officials said.

Samiti office bearers said food is being prepared four times a day breakfast, lunch, tea and dinner. The food is first tasted by officials from the Deputy Commissioners office and then served to the public.

The fund for the food comes from the Samiti Trust, while the organisation also accepts donations from the public. The Samiti has also set up medical facilities, as well as large tanks for providing drinking water.
