GUWAHATI, Sept 9 - A free cataract screening camp was organised at Marngar in Ri-Bhoi district of Meghalaya by Seva Bharati, Meghalaya and Sri Sankaradeva Nethralaya of Guwahati with the support of Seva Bharati, Purbanchal, today.
The camp was inaugurated by Ravi Binong, former village Headman of Nongagaon. A total of 128 patients reported for screening, including many from far-flung villages. Ten patients were detected with cataract and those will be treated free at Nethralaya next month, a press release said.
