DOOMDOOMA, May 13 - One Bhola Ansari (50) was killed on the spot while another person Surendra Choudhury (48) was critically injured in a freak mishap that took place at Kakopothar Road, Rupai Siding near here this afternoon.
According to information, both Ansari and Choudhury were unloading ceramic tiles from a truck (AS06-AC-2889). The two were injured when a pile of tiles fell on them. They were rushed to a private nursing home at Rupai Siding where the doctors declared Ansari dead. The injured person is under treatment in the hospital.
The tiles were brought by the owner of a tea factory for his residence which is under construction.
