SILCHAR, July 23 - Cachar Police arrested four persons, including one belonging to South Africa origin and his Hmar wife in connection with a chit fund case.
Cachar Additional Superintendent of Police Rakesh Reddy informed this Correspondent that the African national was identified as Hamed Colibali.
Sources said that Colibali had arrived here four days ago to meet his wife, a local woman of Hmarkhawlien area of Lakhipur area of Cachar district.
�We arrested the accused on the basis of a suo moto case. A large number of passbooks and ATM cards were recovered from their possession,� the Additional Superintendent of Police informed.
