GUWAHATI, Sept 14 - The foundation stone of an exclusive gymnasium and reception hall at the Assam Cricket Association (ACA) Stadium complex in Barsapara here was laid today by ACA president Romen Dutta in the presence of secretary Devajit Saikia, vice president Porikshit Dutta, and other officials.�
The proposed state of the art project, which will also house a reception hall, will be a two-storied building of about 6000 square foot and is expected to be completed within the next six months. The gymnasium will benefit players of other games too apart from cricket while the reception hall can be used by the general public in the future.�
The ACA has been emphasising in creating proper infrastructure across the State and this is yet another step towards fulfilling that goal, stated an ACA release issued by chief executive officer Sujit Kakati.
