HAILAKANDI, April 26 - The 70th foundation day of Socialist Unity Centre of India (Communist) was observed in Hailakandi along with rest of the country. The meeting held on the occasion was presided over by Prabhash Chandra Sarkar.
Prominent leader of the party, Sushil Paul explained the purpose of the day. Speaking on the occasion, the key speaker of the day, Bhabatosh Chakraborty said that the people of the country are still deprived of development even after the 70 years of Independence. He said that the time has come to unite all sections of people for the cause of the development of the country.
