GUWAHATI, Jan 23 - The Assam Engineering College authority, in association with the Assam Engineering College Alumni Association and AEC Students� Union, will organise the 64th foundation day of the college on January 25 with a variety of programmes on its playground at Jalukbari, a press release stated.
The day will begin with hoisting of the college flag, to be followed by a march-past by the boarders of the college hostels. The annual merit awards of the college will also be presented to last year�s toppers of all the semesters of different engineering disciplines.
A friendly limited overs cricket match between the Principal�s XI and Alumni XI will also be played where many past Ranji Trophy players of the college will participate, the press release added.
