Former Cong Ministers in Arunachal join BJP

ITANAGAR, March 13 � In the run up to the forthcoming Parliamentary and Assembly elections in Arunachal, former Congress Ministers TL Rajkumar, Japu Deru and Kento Ete, State NCP vice president LK Yangfo, PPA vice president Tangpho Wangnam and PPA�s women wing president Kenyir Ringgu have last night joined the BJP expressing their loyalty to the party leadership both at the State and the Centre.

Besides them, retired IAS officer Tape Bagra, senior Congress member Nera Techi, Tame Passang, Dr Mohesh Chai and Jummum Ete Deori also shifted their loyalty to the Saffron Brigade.

They were welcomed into the party fold by the State unit BJP president Tai Tagak, who expressed the hope that joining of senior leaders from various political parties will certainly strengthen the BJP in the State.

Those who joined the BJP also expressed full faith and allegiance to the able leadership of party�s national president Rajnath Singh, State president Tai Tagak and party�s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi, according to a party release.

Tagak called upon the newly joined leaders to stand united to bring the much-needed change in the political scenario of the State in the ensuing Lok Sabha and Assembly elections.
