GUWAHATI, July 20 - The Udayan Kristi Sangha, Lakhora here will host the Swadhinata Cup Football Tournament at their own complex from August 13.
Informing this, Sangha�s sports secretary, Ramen Das said, it will be a 16-team affair and the final will be played on August 15.
The teams will be divided in two groups and the top teams of both the groups will contest for the title in the final to be played on the Independence Day.
Top two teams will be awarded Rs 25,000 and Rs 15,000 respectively. Apart from that, best player, best goalkeeper and highest scorer of the tournament will get Rs 2,000 each.
Teams intending to take part in the prize-money tournament may contact the organisers at their Lakhora Sangha office.
