TINSUKIA, Dec 13 - Barekuri Anchalik Sports Association edged past Boroguri Sports Association 2-1 in the inaugural match of the Swargadeo Sarbananda Singha Memorial Invitation Prize Money Football Championship at the Janamukh Rajiv Gandhi Sports Project here today.
As per the organisers, the tournament feature a total of 17 teams which include several football teams from Tinsukia, Dibrugarh and Sivasagar districts besides Oil India, Duliajan; City Police, Guwahati; KPSC, Manipur and Aryan Club of Kolkata . Barekuri Coaching Centre will face 2nd Assam Police Battalion, Makum in their match tomorrow.
