JAGIROAD, Jan 3 - Bikash Paharia and Nanu Gour Memorial Football Tournament got underway today at the Gopal Krishna Tea Estate playground near here under the auspices of the Gopal Krishna Yuvak Sangha.
In the inaugural match, Barhampur FC, Nagaon defeated Jaluguti FC, Morigaon 2-1. Altogether eight teams of the State are taking part in the tournament. Earlier singer Bhrigu Kashyap inaugurated the tournament.
