IMPHAL, Jan 28 - The 6th Shaheed Manoranjan Singh Memorial Open Football Tournament got underway at the Khuman Lampak main here today.
The tournament was inaugurated by State Deputy Chief Minister Gaikhangam. IG CRPF Vijaykumar and DIG CRPF group centre Vikram Sehgal were also present in the opening ceremony.
Altogether 11 teams, including the North Imphal Sporting Association, North Eastern Re-organising Cultural Association are taking part in the meet.
