JALUKBARI, June 12 - A football coaching camp organised by the Gauhati University in the Kuthari Karbi village premises concluded yesterday.
Around 50 boys and girls took part in the coaching camp for 15 days. Earlier, the Gauhati University had adopted the Kuthari Karbi village near Sitajakhala, Jagiroad.
Gauhati University is taking an initiative to find out the hidden talents in the village and adjoining areas.
Attending the closing function of the football coaching camp, director, Students� Welfare, Gauhati University, Dr Ranjan Kr Kakati said, �The youth should come forward to showcase their hidden talent in sports. Sports can be taken as a career in their life.�
Attending the function, Dr Dwipen Bezbaruah, coordinator of the Community Outreach Programme, GU, requested the youth of that area to do their best for the society and a healthy atmosphere.
