DIBRUGARH, June 2 - The football coaches of the State have set up an organisation billed � Association of Assam Football Coaches with 23 members. The body was formed on May 31 via a general webinar.
Bidhan Das and Mantu Baro were named as the president and secretary of the newly formed organisation. The aim and objective of the association is to accumulate and implement the intellectual knowledge and experience of all the football coaches, football lovers and football experts for development of the game in Assam. The organisation also have the aim to conduct coaches� clinics, workshops, seminars/refresher course and coach education courses for the development of football coaches of Assam, stated a release.
The other members are: Tosen Bora, Gilbertson Sangma, Debashis Roy, Ganesh Rai, Jewel Bey, Subir Dey (all advisers); Pradip Brahma (vice president); Chinmoy Bora (treasurer); Luchan Saikia (assistant secretary); L Kamalakanta Singh (chief coordinator, coach education).
