According to the organizers, the whole idea behind the food festival is to make the visit to the fair a family day apart from giving gastronomic delight to the foodies.

The food festival has been attracting the Guwahatians. We want the visit to be a fun filled day for all, be it an 8 year old or a 70 year old, said the organizers.

The International Food Court has outlets from Bangkok 1, Asian House, Inter Medi Mix, Arabian Night, Karachi Darbar, Chandni Chowk, Taste of India, Amritsari Rasoi and Rajasthani foods.

These outlets are catering dishes from Mexico, Thailand, Norway, Africa, Brazil, Germany, New Zealand, UAE, Pakistan, Malaysia, Indonesia and other Asian and Mediterranean countries.

It needs to be mentioned here that two internationally reputed chefs Somboon Sirithangkul popularly known as Tui and Supreecha Gunnalaykha are personally taking care of the international dishes prepared in the food court.
