Kohima, Dec 4 (PTI): Folk dancers from Thailand and the Northeastern States showed off their skills at the ongoing Hornbill festival at the Kisama Heritage Complex near here.
A 30-member troupe from Thailand under the aegis of Thai embassy took part for the third time in the week-long festival thronged by foreign and domestic tourists.
The Maibis from Manipur enthralled the crowds with their dance form 'Lai Haraoba' depicting the creation of the world and the origin of life and growth of civilization.
A Karbi cultural group from Assam sang folk songs, while a Bihu dance group from the state performed.
A medley of dances and songs by Nishis of Lower Subansiri district of Arunachal Pradesh, folk songs from Mizo group were also part of the show.
