GUWAHATI, May 2 - The Defence Ministry will pay a salute to the corona warriors in style on Sunday.
Defence spokesman Lt Col P Khongsai said between 10 am and 11 am on Sunday, there will be a flypast by Su-30 fighter jets over the Assam State Legislative Assembly. This is, however, subject to weather conditions.
At 10 am, an Mi-17 helicopter from the Guwahati�s IAF base will shower flower petals over the GMCH and at 10:30 am over the MMCH in the city. The chopper will also hover over the medical institutions for sometime while showering flowers.
Besides, there will be a band display at the GMCH at 10 am and the MMCH at 10:30 am.
Similar aerial salute has been organised at other places as well.
