In the meantime, 13 relief camps have been constructed in different parts of the Chapar Revenue Circle and 1,300 flood-affected persons have taken shelter.

The minister assured the flood-affected villagers of providing relief materials as soon as possible. She also met the deputy commissioner of Dhubri and directed him to provide relief materials on immediate basis so that the flood-hit people would not face any shortage of essential commodities during the period of their distress.
