GUWAHATI, March 10 � The owners of the two wheelers and four wheelers of the city will now be able to avail the facilities to convert their regular number plates to High Security Registration Plates (HSRP) at five more affixation centres. Till now, there was one HSRP affixation centre on the office of the District Transport Officer (DTO) compound at Betkuchi.
According to a press release issued by the Agros Impex (I) Pvt Ltd, the DTO, Kamrup (M) has launched these five authorised HSRP affixation centres in collaboration with it. These centres have been set up only to provide relief to the vehicle owners who have been facing the trouble of travelling to the Betkuchi DTO office for the purpose, said the company.
The new affixation centres are located at � M/S Oja Hyundai (Hyundai make vehicles), Basistha Chariali; M/S Abhishek Motors (Tata make vehicles), Adabari; M/S Citi Zen (multiple brands), Christianbasti; M/S Sheth Automobiles (multiple brands), Athgaon and M/S Auto Selection (multiple brands), Adabari.
The DTO Kamrup (Metro) and the company are expecting to add two more affixation centres in the next few months to cover the entire city, said the company.
