GAURIPUR, July 16 - Under the auspices of Dhubri District Fishery Development Office, the National Fish Farmers� Day was observed by organising a felicitation meeting on the premises of Dhubri Municipal High School on July 10.
The meeting was chaired by Mukut Sharma, headmaster of the school and the objectives were explained by NK Sharma, Information Officer, DFDO, Dhubri.
The meet was addressed by a few invited guests including the DFDO, Chayan Acharjee. The meet felicitated three progressive fish farmers of the Dhubri, Bilasipara and South Salmara-Mankachar subdivisions. The National Fish Farmers� Day was also observed at Bongaigaon under the initiative of Dr Anupam Sharma, DFDO, Bongaigaon and a few progressive fish farmers were felicitated for their achievements in the field of fish production.
