Fiscal help offered to Dhubri organisations

DHUBRI, Sept 17 - The City Mission Management Unit of Dhubri Municipal Board under the Assam State Urban Livelihoods Mission Society formally distributed revolving fund, books of accounts and award certificates among area-level federations (ALF) here recently.

Shankar-Azan, Aai Bhubaneswari, Naba-kiran, Jogamaya and Ashoka are the ALF�s which comprise women self-help groups and are registered under Assam Cooperative Societies Act, were selected for receiving funds in the programme held at the Lion�s Club auditorium.

The funds distribution programme was held under the chairmanship of District Development Commissioner Banashree Nath in the presence of Executive Officer of Dhubri Municipal Board Jintu Borah and ward commissioners, where revolving fund worth Rs 50,000 was disbursed among each of the federations.
