By Correspondent

KALAIGAON, July 10 - In an attempt to share feelings and emotion of the poor and sick students, and to encourage them to move forward in their daily struggle, members of Durgat Kalyan Nyas (DKN), a Kalaigaon-based organisation distributed monetary help to a few students here on July 9.

Binoy Kumar Medhi, former Principal of Tangla College, Jagadish Sarkar, EM of BTC, and Maheswar Boro, MLA of Kalaigaon also spoke a few words on the occasion.

In all, 16 financially weak meritorious students were given a cash aid of Rs 2,000 each while three critically ill students were presented a financial aid of Rs 3,000 each.

Krishna Boro of the Nyas subsequently offered the vote of thanks.
