GUWAHATI, March 19 � Three incidents of fire were reported in the city today, including one in Chachal area where a three-year-old child succumbed to burn injuries.
The infant was trapped inside the makeshift thatched house made for the labourers working for a private firm, after the fire had broken out around�1:30 pm�in the locality. Official sources said that the cause of the fire was yet to be ascertained.
Earlier, two other incidents of fire were reported in Basistha and Ganeshguri areas, although no one was injured in any of the incidents.
