FIR against publisher for alleged plagiarism

GUWAHATI, March 11 - A First Information Report (FIR) was lodged with the Panbazar police station against one Madhab Das of the Ashoka Publishing for allegedly resorting to plagiarism.

The FIR, lodged by one Sailen Baishya, alleged that the Ashok Publishing owned by Das has copied a major portion of a book written by the former titled General Studies for ACS Preliminary Examination 2016-17, which was published by Ozone Books and included the same portion in another book by one Sanjeeb Das. A case has been registered in this connection today.
