GUWAHATI, May 28 - A high level delegation of the Federation of Industry and Commerce of North Eastern Region (FINER) headed by its chairman RS Joshi held a meeting today with Atul Bora, Minister for Agriculture, Horticulture & Food Processing, Animal Husbandry & Veterinary, UDD and Town & Country Planning.
The delegation said FINER is confident that under his leadership the new government would address the key issues pertaining to the State so that Assam is able to catch up with the most advanced states.
The delegation apprised the minister of the key issues of the State and requested him to take steps to address the issues at the earliest and assured that FINER would continue to extend support to the government for the overall development of the State.
Bora appreciated the inputs and suggestions given by FINER and assured it of extending full support from his department for the overall development of the State.
The FINER delegation also invited Bora for an interactive session with the members of the Federation, to which the minister agreed.
