Finance, relief sent to Nepal

DIBRUGARH, May 13 � A sum of rupees fifteen thousand was donated by the members of Dibrugarh Hindu Milan Mandir to the relief fund of Bharat Sevashram Sangha for the aid of earthquake affected people of Nepal.

The members donated the amount through a cheque at the Bharat Sevashram Sangha�s head office, Bullygung, Kolkata. �The head office of Bharat Sevashram Sangha will send the amount to our Nepal branch, said Hindu Milan Mandir president Madhusudan Ghosh.

Besides financial assistance, the committee of the Dibrugarh Hindu Milan Mandir also sent consignments of mosquito nets, saris, shirts, pants and jackets etc., for relief purposes.

Bharat Sevashram Sangha has been involved in distributing cooked food, drinking water, clothes and providing medical assistance through their makeshift camps in Nepal since past several days, Ghosh said.
