TEZPUR, June 5 � Timothy Das Hanse, writer and director of the feature film Pole Pole Ure Mon (Assamese version) and Pal Pal Dole Man (Hindi version) met the family members of Rupkonwar Jyoti Prasad Agarwala and expressed regret and apologised for any misconceptions created by the film about the family.
He said that he himself revered Rupkonwar and acknowledged the contributions of his family in the socio-cultural field of Assam, which continues even today. To avoid any future misconceptions at the request of the family members, he agreed that the name �Jyoti� would immediately be removed from both versions of the film. The film with the changed versions would be sent to the archives and future exhibition of the film in both celluloid and television will have the corrected version only.
