JAGIROAD, Dec 28 - Assam State BJP felicitated the newly-elected Tiwa Autonomous Council (TAC) members here yesterday.
In all, 33 BJP candidates out of 36 won from their respective constituencies falling under Nagaon, Morigaon and Kamrup (M) districts.
Among others, former Cabinet Minister Rajen Gohain, Health and Family Welfare Minister of State Pijush Hazarika, Diphu MP Haren Sing Be, Guwahati MP Queen Oja, Mangaldai MP Dilip Saikia, MLA of Nagaon (Sadar) Rupak Sarma, MLA of Morigaon Rama Kanta Deuri, MLA of Dispur Atul Bora State BJP secretary Krishnamoni Chutia and district officials were also present.
